Our Foster City Studio
Our studio currently offers classes for kids ages 18 months through 7 years of age. Our classes are designed to help develop motor skills while learning basic dance techniques. We offer 5 different types of classes at our Foster City studio. Each class is distinguished by dancer's age and class curriculum. Age groupings do include overlap to allow for individual placement. The different classes are also distinguished by parent involvement. Each class meets once per week.
Studio Location
We are conveniently located, just a short drive from either Highways 101 or 92. Our address is 1064E Shell Blvd. Foster City, CA 94404. We are inside the Charter Square Shopping Center on the inner courtyard across from United Studios of Self Defense, and Tokie's.
About Us
SFDC was founded by Jana Chapeton in early 2007. We have had 1500 plus students come through the program at over 20 different preschools and our studio location. All of our teachers have extensive education and experience teaching dance, performance, and motor skills to preschool and school age students. We offer kids exposure to different dance disciplines while helping to develop their confidence and body awareness.
We are different from other dance studios in that we specialize in the preschool age group. Apart from being a talented group of accomplished dancers our teachers are also well educated in early childhood education. Our curriculum is designed to help develop kids at each stage in their early years. We just happen to do it through the medium of dance.
